Hi!!
This is what I have written [Last updated:12-may-2006] on my ORKUT profile…so just read and feel free to let me know if it actually sounds as interesting(or boring!) as i imagine it to be:))
IĀ believe in(and try to practice!) simple living and high thinking… ppl are the most imp thing around for me and relationships, more specifically the other person in the relationship has always been the highest priority for me… (BUT i also deeply believe in the philosophy that one has to prove oneself deserving of such a place in ur heart… unfortunately in life everything has a price and lifespan….but once that’s done, i believe in showing commitment no matter what!!)
The way i see, LIFE is a series of experiences with no final destinations or goals in sight (as if they existed!!)..Everything we do merely turns out to be a means to some other end…we must then seek in life sthg which outlives it and makes it a worthwhile journey on the way…creating happiness for others is possibly one way of doing that…and yes, don’t forget to cherish those “Moments of Truth”!!
To me, Philosophy,Psychology and Poetry are as real and intriguing as Banking, FinanceĀ and Excel…discovery to me is all abt what lies WITHIN.. however, genuine and _free_ interaction or sharing with other person can often facilitate insights abt ur own self…finding the right ppl, recognizing them when they finally arrive in ur life, having the luck of having mutual interest in each other and finally making that small but critical difference to your and their lives all sounds like involving too much of coincidences, but as we often realize, it all works and works rather smoothly… its like if u take care of the current moment by doing the “right” things, everything else by itself starts falling in place…
i feel brains, marks, sucess and money are very very imp in life…but that’s not what deserves to be the end all of life nor are they the right criteria of judging ppl (unless u r in HR!!)…they r just the means…we better try to reach sthg truly worthwhile. And on the way to that, if possible, build a CHARACTER and enjoy the EXPERIENCE!!
i ‘ve often realized abt myself sm of those things which others wud terms as weaknesses…but i ‘ve accpeted them along with the fact that my family and good friends ‘ve continued to like me in spite of them… and that i wonder is the true beauty of worthwhile relationships…and i truly cherish all those beautiful moments, so what if they may not be as many as we wud ‘ve liked them to be!!
and finally,i like dissent..:)believe me,it really helps…plus i ‘ve always liked doing things that happen to be difficult… success rates r secondary:)
Pal.
ppl often don’t lack in ability; they lack in intent…
